Joint Care Center

Hyundae Hospital's Joint Center has partnered with the renowned Campbell Clinic, which compiles orthopedic textbooks in the United States, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), advancing its position as an international joint center. Through collaborations with Campbell Clinic on medical technology transfer, research participation, sharing of research outcomes, and exchange of medical staff, we are driving the globalization of healthcare and the advancement of medical technologies. Under the guidance of highly experienced orthopedic specialists, we conduct detailed and specialized surgeries and treatments. Notably, our Vice Director, Dr. Jeong Young-Bok, a leading expert in knee joint surgery, along with Dr. Kim Boo-Seop, the hospital director, and other specialists in joint replacements, perform surgeries that meet the standards of top university hospitals. With the use of state-of-the-art surgical and diagnostic equipment, we achieve clinical success rates of over 99%, and our patients can use their ificial joints for up to 20 years post-surgery. Additionally, our arthroscopy specialists directly perform surgeries, ensuring effective rehabilitation treatment and a fast recovery after the procedure. Due to the complexity of arthroscopic procedures, it is essential to receive surgery from highly specialized and experienced medical professionals. Hyundai Hospital’s Arthroscopy Center, with its extensive clinical experience, ensures short and safe surgeries.

Since its establishment, the Joint Center has been actively engaged in education, research, and clinical practice. In 2009, Hyundai Hospital partnered with the renowned Campbell Clinic, which compiles orthopedic textbooks in the United States, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Mongolian Hospital, marking the beginning of its journey as an international joint center. As part of its international expansion and development of medical technologies, Hyundai Hospital continuously strives for advancements through medical training programs in collaboration with the Sports Medicine and Joint Center at the University of Tennessee. In June 2009, we initiated a joint medical program among Korea, the United States, and Mongolia, inviting faculty from the Campbell Clinic to lead surgeries and lectures at hospitals in Mongolia and Seoul. Additionally, we established a Joint Center at the National Mongolian Hospital to transfer Hyundai Hospital’s advanced medical technology, while also providing training for Mongolian medical professionals at our center. This collaboration has significantly contributed to the global dissemination of advanced medical practices.
