Plastic surgery is a specialized field of surgery focused on correcting structural deformities or defects and restoring functional integrity. It aims to correct congenital or acquired deformities and deficiencies of the external body to restore both function and appearance as close to normal as possible, ultimately helping patients lead more confident and comfortable lives. Plastic surgery is generally divided into two major categories: reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. However, a clear distinction between the two is often difficult, as reconstructive procedures not only restore anatomical structures to their normal state but also provide cosmetic benefits by improving appearance. Conversely, cosmetic procedures aim to reconstruct and enhance features beyond the standard norms. For practical purposes, the classification depends on the primary goal of the surgery. In recent years, cosmetic plastic surgery has gained worldwide popularity and has played a significant role in helping individuals regain self-confidence and improve their overall quality of life.

In cases of facial trauma, we work closely with specialists from other departments to ensure the best possible outcomes through multidisciplinary collaboration. For suturing procedures, national health insurance is applied whenever applicable. Our department provides care not only for cosmetic concerns but also for patients who require reconstructive plastic surgery. When it comes to cosmetic procedures, our approach is patient-centered and not commercially driven, always prioritizing the patient’s well-being. Inpatient care and intensive care unit (ICU) treatment are available when needed. We offer personalized, one-on-one consultations to ensure smooth surgical procedures and effective treatments. Advanced imaging and therapeutic options such as CT, MRI, and negative pressure wound therapy are also available.
